Junior Financial & Business Analyst

You will work in a small team in which you will be supported by a team lead and helpful colleagues. You will meet lots of new people with unique stories and backgrounds. And last but not least: you will grow and learn new things every day.

As a financial and business analyst, your main objective will be to consolidate and examine the financials of the different businesses. You will provide analysis on these financials and make cost/price calculations in order to help and understand our business and growth opportunities.

The job consists of two parts:

Business responsibilities:

• Analysing the needs of our internal partners (sales, operations, etc) and defining the best solutions for them.
• Defining and monitoring KPI’s and reporting these to the management team.
• Having open, constructive and effective dialogues with key stakeholders in- and outside of our organisation.
• Participating in the realisation of our strategy through your creativity and ideas.
• Proactively managing projects (planning, communication, follow-up, etc).
• Applying the best working method to achieve pragmatic results.
• Delivering quality results while ensuring a good ‚cost-benefit‘ balance.

Financial responsibilities:

• Credit controlling.
• Responsible for all intercompany accounts, including consolidations.
• Performing monthly, quarterly and annual closures for reporting.
• Making a financial planning, reporting and analysis with monthly control to explain and clarify possible deviations.
• Realizing a monthly reporting of financial figures to the management according to KPI’s.
• Preparation of the annual audit files.

Preferably you have a master’s degree in an economic or financial field (TEW, commercial sciences, commercial engineering, etc.) and minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
