As a software developer, your main tasks and responsibilities will be :

• Preparing, planning and practically organizing your own work in consultation with the N+1 in order to ensure that it can proceed efficiently;
• Performing various tasks related to the development and maintenance of software to contribute to the smooth and timely processing of orders;
• Reporting on your own work and results to enable the N+1 to compare the result with the quality standards and adjust if necessary;
• Inventory, collecting and maintaining the necessary materials and/or data to always have sound and useful materials and/or data;
• Informing about applications, systems and procedures to ensure that the customer (internal or external) understands their use and capabilities;
• Undertaking actions to provide customers with suitable solutions to less obvious questions and problems;
• Constantly perfecting the rapidly evolving and changing technologies inherent to development in order to continuously improve the quality of the assignments to be carried out by integrating the new developments and technologies;
• Acting correctly and respectfully towards your environment and existing rules and agreements.

For this job, we are looking for someone who has the following knowledge, experience and skills:

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or qualification by experience;
• +3 years of relevant software development experience;
• Exceptional troubleshooting (problem analysis) skills and being able to switch quickly;
• Good knowledge of C#. NET Core and familiar with ASP.NET Core, Blazor, HTML, CSS, SQL Server, Azure (Docker is an advantage);
• Fluent in English, any other language (Dutch, French, German,…) is an advantage.

SOFT SKILLS

• You are ready to work in very close contact with the business and take responsibility from technical analyses until deployment of the code. You’ll be involved in all steps of the process.
• You can work autonomously on tasks and projects.
